^ma 1 80 ^pl 0 ^ju ^sk0SEA BATTLE ^sk0===*====== ^sk1Sea Battle is an old game that is played on different sized battlecharts with different sets of rules. This version is for the solo player against the machine. ^sk1You, the player, have a limited amount of amunition in the form of 20 salvoes, each of three shots, and a limited amount of time, one hour, to sink an enemy battlefleet consisting of one battleship, two cruisers, three torpedo boats and four submarines. ^sk1The basic requirements of the game are an HP41C+Quad, PPC+TIME+XFUNC modules and a 24 column strip printer. If you do not have any of these modules then please write and tell me and I will attempt to modify the program accordingly. ^sk1On this disc you will find versions for the HP41/Strip Printer, HP41/Video Interface and for HP71B/TRANSLATOR ROM with either (1) The Strip Printer, (2) The Mountain Computer Video Interface [80 col] or (3) The HP Video Interface [32 col]. 'Text' and 'Intermediate' versions are given for the Translator Rom variants. The Translator Rom versions run much faster so you have much more time to think. ^sk1BASIC INSTRUCTIONS ^sk0------------------ ^sk0To set up the game - key in a seed and key 'A' ^sk0To fire a salvo - 1st shot ENTER! 2nd shot ENTER! 3rd shot 'E' ^sk0To cross off a square - Enter no of square and key 'C' ^sk1Full details of this game appear in 'DATAFILE - V2N4'.
